GMX-PhotoPainter

The GMX-PhotoPainter application is meant to be used by artists, photographers or students who want to turn their digital photographs into paintings. With the brushes GMX-PhotoPainter has to offer and with your skill, you will be able to turn a normal photo into a stunning painting.

GMX-PhotoPainter can be used on Microsoft Windows operating system, anything from XP onward, and on Apple’s Mac OS X, anything from 10.5 onward. To get the application up and running on a PC, you must go through a standard setup process. This means you will have to download an executable, run it, then follow the instructions presented to you by a setup wizard.

The main pane of the application’s interface presents the painting you’re working on. At the top there are buttons for switching between various tools and styles and at the bottom there are sliders for adjusting the zoom level, density, painting opacity, and size. Next to the main interface, you will see an Options window that GMX-PhotoPainter opens by default.

To help you turn a digital photo into a painting, the application provides access to several Tools (Autopaint, Pattern, BandPaint, Freehand) and to several painting styles (Oil, Watercolor, Crayon, Pastel, PenInk, Various, and Bristle). Use these tools alongside your natural talent and you will turn the photos into stunning paintings.
